The Food Safety Culture Toolkit is an ever-expanding, multimedia resource created by The Alliance to Stop Foodborne Illness. It is completely FREE to access and is optimized for small- and medium-sized food companies, but can be used by any enterprise.
Recipient of the 2024 IAFP Food Safety Innovation Award
the Toolkit is groundbreaking in its development of accessible resources for advancing food safety culture.
Culture is the learned and shared values, beliefs, and norms that affect behaviors towards food safety throughout an organization. A strong, positive food safety culture can help protect consumers from foodborne illness and, in turn, an organization’s reputation.
The Alliance’s FREE resource library includes video testimony from families directly impacted by foodborne illness, interactive games, and customizable communication and assessment tools for team building.
Alliance members from across the food industry contributed time, insight, and resources to create tools which are:
+Informed by the most current science
+Based on decades of industry experience
+Tailored to be most useful for small- and medium-sized companies
Stop Foodborne Illness is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent the law allows.
