STOP3000

National
Food Safety Education Month Annual Fundraiser

Commemorating its 30th anniversary year, Stop Foodborne Illness (STOP) stands out as the only organization committed to empowering the survivors of foodborne illness.

Through collaboration with consumers, academic partners, the food industry, and government entities, STOP focuses on the importance of food safety, advocates for impactful policy changes, provides invaluable support to affected families, and drives culture shift within the food industry to prioritize food safety as a critical public health concern.

Through our event we challenge our constituents, their friends and families, and our partners and donors to take 3,000 steps each day – every day – during the month of September to honor the 3,000 lives lost each year to foodborne illness in the U.S.
